Bracket separation is adjustable for some cantilever arrangements. Follow the steps below to learn how to adjust bracket separation, for both single brackets and twin or triple brackets.
Step 1: Navigate to the ‘Wires’ section of the Lineardraft toolbar
Step 2: Click the ‘Edit Wire Point’ button
Step 3: Select the wire point of the cantilever you wish to adjust
This will open the 'Configure' window.
Step 4: Click the ‘Customise’ button in the 'Configure' window
This will open a new window, which will allow you to customise the available options for your chosen cantilever style.
Step 5: Navigate to the ‘Bracket Separation’ field for your cantilever in the ‘Customise’ window
This option may not always be called ‘Bracket Separation’ depending on the design of your chosen cantilever. In this case, it is called ‘Top Bracket Offset’.
Please note: If you’ve tried to use the 'Customise' button to adjust your bracket separation, and can’t find any options to do so, then submit a suggest a catalogue change request here.
Step 6: Change the value to your desired bracket separation
This can be done by using the ‘up’ and ‘down’ buttons, or by typing in a value.
Step 7: Click the ‘Confirm’ button in the ‘Customise’ and ‘Configure’ windows
This will save your customised options and close the 'Configure' window, applying the changes to your cantilever.

Step 6: Change the value to your desired bracket separation
This can be done by using the ‘up’ and ‘down’ buttons, or by typing in a value into the field.
Please note: For cantilevers on twin or triple brackets, the bracket graphics will follow and display correctly for the cantilever that is attached at the highest vertical position.
Step 7: Click the ‘Confirm’ button in the ‘Customise’ and ‘Configure’ windows
This will save your customised options and close the 'Configure' window, applying the changes to your cantilever.
If you need to adjust the bracket separation for other cantilevers on the twin or triple bracket, simply repeat these steps for all other cantilevers.
