The below instructions outline how to make changes to a gantry for a structure you have already placed.
Edit a Gantry
Step 1: Navigate to the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft toolbar
Step 2: Click the 'Adjust' button
Step 3: Click the structure you would like edit
This will open up the 'Edit Structure' window.
Step 4: Configure the gantry
You can change the gantry type from the drop down, and change the length and height of the gantry using the up/down arrows as needed.
Step 5: Click 'Confirm'
This will close the 'Edit Structure' window.
Edit a Gantry with Equipment
Step 1: Navigate to the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft toolbar
Step 2: Click the 'Adjust' button
Step 3: Click the structure you would like edit
This will open up the 'Edit Structure' window.
Step 4: Configure the gantry type, if necessary
Selecting the drop down menu to select a new gantry type will open up the 'Configure Steelwork' window. From there you can select a new gantry without affecting your wire supports or backties. Learn more here.
Step 5: Review or adjust any automatic adjustments to equipment
If the equipment you have attached to your gantry is no longer applicable with your new gantry choice, Lineardraft may have automatically updated to similar piece of equipment. You can view and adjust the new equipment in the drop down menus.

Step 6: Click 'Confirm'
This will close the 'Configure Steelwork' window.
Step 7: Continue to configure the gantry
Make changes to the height and length of the gantry by overtyping in the box or using the up/down arrows.
Step 8: Click 'Confirm'
This will close the 'Edit Structure' window and your changes will now be visible in the 3D and plan views.
