There are two ways to locate articles in the Helpcentre.
Using the Search Function
Step 1: Locate the search bar on the Helpcentre
This can be found on the home page, or in the top-left of every section and article page.
Step 2: Type in your query, press enter, and browse the results
Browsing for Articles
Step 1: Navigate to the required section on the Lineardraft home page
The sections are as follows:
Getting Started: Anything to do with installation, activation, and management of the software.
Lineardraft User Guide: How to use Lineardraft. Includes all basic software functions, advanced functionalities, and special use cases.
Video Training: Access to our self-directed video training course. Does not contain articles.
Troubleshooting: All articles related to common problems and how to fix them.
Design Catalogues: Contains information about our catalogues, including access to our Catalogue Explorer tool.
Project Settings: Every article relating to project settings and how they control design parameters in a model.
Glossary & Release Notes: Essential terminology and software release notes.
Need Support?: Everything you need to know about ticketing, including submission guidelines, explanation of the process, and frequently asked questions.
Step 2: Select the relevant section
This will take you to the section page, where all articles are listed under the relevant sub-sections. Whilst on this page, you can still easily access other sections via the sidebar on the left-hand side, as shown in the image below.
Step 3: Navigate the results until you find the required article
